In this varied and influential role, you will be:

  • Leading and managing the onsite pharmacy team, including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and trainees.
  • Driving the delivery of safe, effective, and patient‑focused pharmacy services in line with national standards.
  • Leading on pharmaceutical aspects of new service mobilisation and hospital development projects.
  • Embedding innovative models of care, including virtual pharmacy reviews and peri‑operative pharmacy services.
  • Overseeing governance, medicines management, and audit programmes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Acting as the senior clinical pharmacy expert, providing advice to consultants, clinicians, and patients.
  • Representing pharmacy at senior management level and contributing to strategic planning, cost improvement programmes, and digital transformation projects.

  • Independent Prescribing qualification (or willingness to work towards it).

You’ll be a resilient, adaptable and innovative leader who acts as a positive role model and is committed to digital transformation, best practice and continuous improvement.
