A local educational institution in Bedford is looking for a proactive Site Assistant to join their team. This full-time permanent role involves maintaining the school site, ensuring security, and managing health and safety standards. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Site Team at QPA and learn how to maintain a School Site. We are seeking someone who is proactive and has a hands‑on approach to your work. Join our dedicated Site Team and you will work as part of the team responsible for the maintenance, security and efficient operation of the school premises and grounds, ensuring high standards of health, safety, and compliance are consistently met. This is a physically active role requiring strong practical skills, initiative, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors.

Salary: AS 4 -12 £25,495‑£28,907 dependent on experience
Job role: Permanent, Full‑time, 52 weeks per year (25 days annual leave plus 3 days between Christmas & New Year)
Working Hours 37 hours per week, Monday‑Friday (2‑week rota system between the hours of 6:45 am and 6:15 pm)
Shift 1: 6:45 am—2:45 pm (Mon‑Thurs), 6:45 am—2:15 pm (Fri)
Shift 2: 10:15 am—6:15 pm (Mon‑Thurs), 10:45 am—6:15 pm (Fri)
