Job description

Dynisma is revolutionising the automotive and motorsport driving simulator market with its disruptive Motion Generator technology. Our cutting-edge approach to simulator design delivers more data about vehicle dynamics and ride to drivers and passengers with less latency and more accurately than any other motion simulators available.

About the Team

We are a team of engineers experienced both in the design and manufacture of driving simulators, as well as their use in vehicle development. We develop, deliver, and support outstanding, ground-breaking simulators and motion generators that support the engineering that leads to winning performance on the track.

About the Role

We are looking to fill a Simulation & Control Engineer role, where you will be expected to:

  • Commission robotic software for our simulators in Bristol and at customer sites.
  • Test our simulators, evaluate, and improve their performance.
  • Bring together a wide range of electrical and control systems to make complete simulators.
  • Identify software and hardware issues from telemetry and coordinate a response with the team.
  • Support customers by monitoring, improving, and maintaining our simulator software.
  • Design and build test rigs from Realtime systems, sensors, and actuators.

What we’re looking for:

  • A background in fields such as Engineering, Robotics, Physics, Maths or Computer Science
  • Experience in at least one high level language (e.g. Python, MATLAB) either professionally, academically or through suitable experience
  • A methodical and rigorous approach to problem solving.
  • Confidence in applying the fundamentals of Physics and Maths
  • Curiosity and a passion for improving problems you find.
  • Clear communication and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Determination, independence, and a will to take responsibility.
