Overview

Shift Mechanical Technician role in Portishead. 1 shift mechanical technician position with responsibilities in a high-tech environment.

The Role
  • Rotate duties across four cleanroom facilities to ensure consistent standards are maintained.
  • Undertake scheduled upkeep, including the cleaning and replacement of filters, tubing, and related parts.
  • Keep accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and cleaning documentation.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
  • Clean equipment, fixtures, and surrounding areas (such as floors and doors) using approved materials and methods.
  • Monitor and replenish essential supplies, tools, and PPE to support continuous operation.
The Candidate
  • Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering - Desirable
  • Experienced working within a vacuum or cleanroom environment.
  • Ideally have experience with gas chambers.
  • Familiar with ISO standards and other relevant regulations for a cleanroom environment.
