Sewing Machinist - Upholstery

Location: Aberdare / Bridgend

Pay Rate: up-to £21.00 per hour OTE

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Hours: Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm (early finish 1:00pm Fridays)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Sewing Machinists on behalf of a well‑established manufacturer of high‑quality sofas and upholstered furniture. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced machinists or those with transferable sewing skills looking for long‑term, stable work with a company that invests in its people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating industrial sewing machines to produce upholstery components

  • Working from patterns and instructions

Training & Support
  • 1‑to‑1 training provided
  • Ongoing support from a strong team of experienced sewing machinists
  • Clear development pathway with the opportunity to become permanent
