Job Description

Hosted by Severn Arts, Reimagine Redditch delivers inspiring and bold creative projects with communities. We co-create new work with Redditch residents, especially those people who do not regularly take part in the arts.

The Senior Producer is a new post that we have created to lead the delivery of our new 3-year programme: Bigger, Broader, Bolder. The successful candidate will work with artists, producers and community leaders to shape and deliver our core programme areas - Amplify, Makers, and Communities.

Project work will include an 18-month-long co-created dance piece, working with major events in Redditch such as Glastonbeoley, and pushing the artistic possibilities of community project work in neighbourhoods and with communities of interest.

The Senior Producer will play a major role in the programme's senior leadership team and will represent Reimagine Redditch in the local community and with our key strategic and delivery partners.

We are recruiting someone who is not only experienced in the arts but shares our commitment to socially engaged practice and co-creation. Our work involves multiple artforms and ranges from hyper-local work to large-scale public projects. We want to create relevant work with communities on a long-term basis, experimenting and learning as we go.

  • Deliver and develop Reimagine Redditch's creative programme.
  • Contract and manage freelance artists, producers, and suppliers.
  • Line manage teams of volunteers for event delivery and to shape the programme.
  • Co-create excellent creative opportunities with Redditch people, community leaders, participants and artists.
  • Work with the team, artists, and communities to shape compelling comms and generate meaningful evaluation.

Video applications of no more than 10 minutes will be accepted.

We will host an online Teams meeting on Friday 20 February at 11 am for anyone interested in the role to find out more and ask questions. If you want to attend the online meeting, email recruitment@severnarts.org.uk to book a place.

Deadline for applications is 9am on 02 March 2026.

Interviews will take place on 16 or 17 March 2026 at Reimagine Redditch’s offices.
