Purchase to Pay Administrator
Location: Flexible: Hybrid Working (Barrow, Kendal, Penrith with the Facility to work from Carlisle but this will be as a workbase and not a contractual location)
Contract Type: x3 positions (Part time hours considered)
About this opportunity
We are looking for Three Administrators to join our Purchase to Pay and Accounts Receivables team.
Following Local Government Reorganisation this has been delivered as a shared service but is now being disaggregated with a mixture of new and existing staff serving Westmorland and Furness Council.
Purchase to Pay and Accounts Receivable are part of the Council’s Financial Services team, so you’ll be joining our friendly, welcoming and supportive team.
There is an expectation that the post-holder will be required to travel to the Carlisle office for training
Who we are looking for…
You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities so will need to be an experienced team worker providing responsive, flexible and effective and efficient administrative support. You will undertake administrative tasks to support delivery of directorate services for both internal and external customers.
Liaise with managers/public customers and other stakeholders (internal and external) as required to support statutory timescales and requirements, ensuring a courteous and professional approach to queries.
You should have NQF or NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent experience or knowledge in the relevant work area.
