Job description

The Safeguarding Team is looking for a resilient Senior Wellbeing & Pastoral Mentor to support the work of the Safeguarding & Wellbeing Manager across the college sites of Hereford and Holme Lacy campuses. The post is key for the successful delivery of pastoral services for students.

This exciting position will support the mentoring team with individual case management and manage a reduced caseload of their own students, providing a holistic wellbeing support service within the college environment. The role is key in supporting students to continuously seek to improve theirsafety,health and well-being as well as their retention at College to achieve academic success.Working with college staff and partner agencies will be key aspects of the role, including preparing and delivering training and professional development for staff across southern campuses.

The successful applicant must possess the drive, energy and enthusiasm for such a pivotal role and have experience of providing pastoral and welfare related services for with a range of client groups.
