Job summary

A growing company in the scientific field is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to support their finance function on a part-time basis in Cambridge. You will be responsible for UK tax work and supporting the year-end processes. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in senior tax roles, with a strong focus on UK tax compliance. This role allows for collaboration with a motivated team dedicated to making a difference in human health and requires working in the office a minimum of two days per week.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in a senior tax role, primarily UK focused.
• Excellent knowledge of UK tax accounting and compliance.
• Knowledge of R&D tax credits and corporate interest restriction.

Responsibilities

• Drive CT600 submissions with support from external advisors.
• Support the finalisation of the R&D tax credit submissions.
• Prepare annual tax disclosures for statutory accounts.
