The Role

Working within an established national sustainability team, you will support the delivery of sustainable design and best‑practice consultancy across a diverse project portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing holistic sustainability strategies for new and existing developments
  • Leading the delivery of environmental and wellbeing assessments such as BREEAM, WELL and Home Quality Mark from concept through to post‑construction
  • Undertaking a range of technical analyses, which may include:
    • Embodied and operational carbon assessments
    • Whole life carbon modelling
    • Circular economy consultancy
    • Building performance modelling, including operational energy estimates and overheating assessments
  • Supporting clients in shaping energy and sustainability strategies that promote innovation and high environmental performance
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members
  • Contributing to internal research, development and Technical Excellence initiatives, with opportunities to lead industry‑facing studies and author guidance documents

You will bring experience and capability in a selection of the following areas:

  • Experience within the built environment sector
  • Previous work in a sustainability or engineering consultancy
