About The Role

Key duties:

  • Creates and checks 3d engineering designs
  • Responsible for ensuring designs meet project requirements
  • Input to project plans
  • Identify areas of concern during any project or study
  • Produce cost‑effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value
  • Ability to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
  • Undertake surveys, both onshore and offshore - essential

Our Engineers can expect to work in a modern environment, based in our Aberdeen or Glasgow office. We offer flexible working on a hybrid basis where 2 days per week can be worked remotely.

About You

Our ideal candidate will enjoy team working, will be customer and quality focused, can use their own initiative and will be responsive to our business and client needs. You should also enjoy coaching and mentoring others.

We’d like you to have a HND in a relevant subject and have previous 3d detail design modelling capabilities (plant 3D / Re-Cap) with an awareness of other disciplines. You need to be competent and have an interest in working with AutoDesk design products.

This role will require offshore and onshore site visits to perform surveys as and when required so candidates must have valid offshore certification or be willing to get this. PD&MS Group will cover the costs to get this certification for employees.
