Overview

We are hiring for a Senior Software Engineer who will work in an applications software development team extending and enhancing Andor’s innovative scientific product portfolio. The role extends to software applications development, product requirements management, quality testing strategy & development and support for customer queries and production support.

Location

This position is based at our Belfast headquarters on a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities
  • Work in an applications software development team to extend and enhance Andor’s scientific product portfolio.
  • Software applications development for Windows platforms.
  • Product requirements management, quality testing strategy & development.
  • Provide support for customer queries and production support as needed.
Qualifications
  • BSc/BEng qualification in Electrical and Electronic/Software Engineering/Physics or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience in
  • Using C++, C# or Java for Windows application development
  • Object-oriented design using industry standard techniques and tools
  • Experience in the product development lifecycle from requirements gathering to test and support
