Job Title: Senior Social Worker – Children & Families Team
Location: Bradford, UK
Salary: £35.00 – £37.40 per hour
Contract: Ongoing
Hours: Full Time / Part Time

Purpose of the Role

To provide expert leadership in complex casework, safeguarding children and improving outcomes by modelling high‑quality social work practice, offering professional guidance, and promoting statutory excellence alongside strong relationship‑based practice.

What You Will Do

• Hold a reduced caseload of complex, high‑risk cases, including court involvement
• Lead robust assessments, planning, and interventions aligned with statutory guidance
• Undertake direct work with children, ensuring their voices shape all decisions
• Provide practice expertise and guidance to newly qualified and developing social workersOffer reflective supervision and promote best‑practice standards
• Lead multi‑agency safeguarding activity, including strategy meetings and case conferences
• Prepare comprehensive reports for court, child protection forums, and LAC reviews
• Contribute to service development, innovation, and quality assurance initiatives
• Champion strengths‑based and trauma‑informed practice in line with Bradford’s care model
