Job Title: Senior Social Worker

Job Location: Bromley, UK
Salary: £36 per hour
Salary Type: Hourly

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Worker in Bromley, with a focus on working within the Locality Team. This role offers a rate of £36 per hour for 36 hours a week, with an initial contract term of 3 months and potential for extension. You will be an integral part of the Hayes and Five Elms Locality Team, working on ongoing care management interventions. This position allows you to support young adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and older individuals to live independently. You will also help carers to manage risks effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Work within the Locality Team on care management interventions, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Conduct assessments under the Care Act 2014 and collaborate with young people transitioning from Children’s Services to Adult Services.
  • Undertake safeguarding work and Best Interest assessments on a rota basis.
  • Support younger adults with disabilities and sensory impairments, as well as older individuals, in achieving greater independence.
  • Provide supervisory guidance for both unqualified and qualified Care Managers, requiring strong supervisory experience.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with partner agencies.
  • Communicate and negotiate effectively within a multidisciplinary framework.
