A leading care provider in England is seeking a Senior Social Care Worker to support a team while ensuring high levels of care. The role involves working with adults with learning disabilities in a residential setting, with responsibilities including team supervision and engagement in daily activities. Hours: 48
Salary: £12.90 to £13.10 per hour (A higher range is offered to applicants with qualifications in health and social care)

The role of the Senior Social Care Worker is to provide support and guidance to a team of social care workers, whilst making sure you always provide the highest level of care and lead by example. You will also liaise with the seniors in the home reporting any matters of concern. You must have experience in the care sector and have the willingness to learn and expand on your previous knowledge. Not only will you make a huge difference to people’s lives, but you’ll be able to enjoy days out, trips away and join in with many more activities, all of which ensures the people we work with are safe, happy and lead fulfilling lives.
Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player and a good communicator are key characteristics of a successful Team Leader.

Fairview is a spacious, detached home on a quiet residential street in the village of Baughurst, close to the busy town of Tadley, near Newbury. It supports up to eight men and women with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs. Residents enjoy an individually tailored programme of leisure and educational activities at the home and in the local community, including swimming, country walks, cooking and social clubs. In addition, the home has its own transport for local travel and regular outings further afield.
