Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in North London is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist for a fixed-term contract to improve mental health care services. Candidates will assess and provide interventions for service users in the community, while also mentoring junior staff. Qualifications

  • Clear evidence of specialist experience and clinical skills for working with people with mental health conditions and/or learning disability.
  • Experience of teaching and training others using a variety of complex multi-media materials.
  • Experience of working within mental health, CAMHS, secure care, or learning disability environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and provide SLT intervention to service users in the community.
  • Mentor and support more junior staff within the team.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to improve mental health care.

Education

Recognised degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
