In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Senior Analyst, Revenue to bring fresh insights and expertise to our Cunard Revenue Management team within Cunard.

Role Overview

The Senior Revenue Analyst is responsible for supporting the maximisation of revenue delivery by being the subject matter expert relating to our data, reporting, and trend analysis. As well as communicating performance both at a strategic and tactical level, you’ll also support the development of data and reporting that will enable efficient optimisation of revenue - highlighting risks and opportunities and be a key link between business and data science.

This pivotal role will involve:

  • Delivery of the best possible net ticket revenue for all cruises in portfolio
  • Articulate the trading performance including key challenges and opportunities to the business. Building effective reporting visualisations to allow for effective analysis of performance
  • Support the creation of a clear strategy/plan of how the revenue will be delivered, by providing insight and analysis of both current and historical trends
  • Working closely with the Data Science team to ensure that key metrics are accurate and embedded within our tools to optimise and support decision making
  • Support the development of a reporting roadmap and contribute to development of tools and reports to support the optimisation of revenue. In addition, build and develop new reporting to support the articulation of performance and revenue management of cruises
  • Key contact between Revenue Management and other key stakeholders on system and revenue related data requests and processes.

This role is positioned at level CUK08 within our organisation and is available on a full-time permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

  • Experience working in an analytical role -with competencies to identify trends, interpret and manipulate data, and inform decision-making.
  • Strong SQL skills, with a proven ability to write complex queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis/reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse, manipulate, and present data using complex formulas, PivotTables, and Power Query.
  • Expertise in Power Bi capability and experience.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and train team members, improving technical capability and confidence.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and streamlining workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Proven commercial acumen.
