Job summary

A respected recruitment services provider is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to oversee a portfolio of railway signalling projects. This role, based in Derby, involves managing commercial aspects from pre-contract to final account while ensuring compliance with NEC contracts. Candidates should possess a strong background in rail sector projects, effective contractor management skills, and excellent stakeholder communication abilities. This is a 6-month rolling contract inside IR35, with a commitment to equal employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor in the rail sector.
• Strong background in railway signalling projects.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of multiple rail signalling projects.
• Management of budgets, forecasts, CVRs, and cost control.
