Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 months' post qualification clinical experience required.
  • Prior NHS experience essential either through training or previous employment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a State Registered Radiographer providing imaging services.
  • Participate in multi-modality imaging across clinical environments.
  • Make autonomous decisions regarding the appropriateness of examinations.

Skills

Knowledge of radiographic anatomy and relevant pathology
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Provide mentorship to students and junior colleagues
Knowledge of Ionising Radiation Regulations

Education

BSc Degree in Radiography, DCR(R), or equivalent qualification
Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council
Post Graduate Certificate or Diploma, or equivalent experience
