The role involves monitoring, testing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and repeatability as well as working on reducing variations and cost of poor quality. This role calls for a strong blend of practical, hands‑on ability and exceptional soft skills — including teamwork, communication, leadership, and coordination.**What You’ll Do:*** Developing and maintaining quality control plans and procedures for different product families according to existing standards and specific customer requirements.* Ensuring the correct application of work instructions and quality control plans together with applicable QMS procedures.* Managing customer quality claims, including intercompany issues.* Managing internal quality non-conformities, applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) and identify areas of improvement.* Monitoring supplier quality performance and managing supplier quality issues.* Driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions using tools like 8D, A3, FMEA, involving cross-functional teams when required.* Facilitating external (e.g., ISO, BASEC) and customer audits.
