Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Quality Control / Inspection role.
• Welding Inspection Level II qualification (PCN Level II or CSWIP 3.1 minimum).
• Strong understanding of welding procedures, NDT, fabrication, and inspection documentation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and with external inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Build effective working relationships with managers, chargehands, and production teams.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
• Review and monitor project Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Process NDT requests and ensure compliance.
• Maintain weld logs and review welder qualifications.
• Carry out fit-up inspections and monitor consumable storage.
• Support the compilation of manufacturing records and documentation.
• Participate in risk assessments and safety inspections.
