A local authority is seeking a Senior Surveyor to manage its commercial property portfolio. The role requires candidates to have a relevant degree, excellent communication, and negotiation skills, with RICS membership preferred. Grade K SCP 34 – 37 (£45,091 - £48,226) Plus an additional temporary Recruitment & Retention Allowance 10% (£4,509.10 - £4,822.60)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for three Senior Surveyor to join our Property Services Team working on eitherthe property management team o the acquisitions and disposals team dealing with disposals, acquisitions, valuation, rent reviews, lettings and all other matters associated with the management of the Council’s commercial property portfolio.
You will be required to have a good technical knowledge and extensive experience of commercial property management, including landlord and tenant. You should have good IT skills, with good presentation and negotiation skills, be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team, be self motivated and comfortable handling a constantly challenging workload.
You will hold a relevant degree or similar qualification. We welcome applications from those RICS qualified or imminently sitting their APC. You will need to have a driving licence, access to a car or means to mobility support.
