Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact projects for a trading and optimisation function. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in delivering technical solutions in complex environments, particularly within trading and refined products optimisation.

Base pay range: Hybrid (3 days onsite, London) | £925 a day (Inside IR35)

Responsibilities

• Delivery of key projects and product workstreams to time, budget, and quality targets.
• Driving major improvements to in-house crude optimisation engines.
• Delivering a bespoke non-linear blending optimisation solution.
• Embedding new and existing products into technical and operational practices.
• Partnering with business analysts and teams to define requirements, processes, and solutions.
• Acting as Scrum Master to support agile delivery practices.
• Overseeing budget management, reporting, governance, and risk/issue management.
• Facilitating design workshops, governance forums, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Ensuring quality and engineering consistency across workstreams.
