Overview
Sirius Analysis is a rapidly growing consultancy firm offering end-to-end technical consultancy across Defence, Digital, Nuclear, Space and Energy sectors. We are looking for a technically qualified and experienced Project Manager to operate at a Senior Consultant level to join our Project Management team.
The Role:
As a Senior Consultant (Senior Project Manager), you will deliver end-to-end project and programme management services to clients. You will work with stakeholders, project teams and Account leads to ensure successful delivery of projects and initiatives aligned with business objectives, across diverse sectors including defence, nuclear, space and energy.
Responsibilities
- Managing programmes and projects across different sectors.
- Delivering end-to-end management of technical projects by planning, executing, and closing projects to meet deadlines and timescales.
- Providing stakeholder management, communications, risk management, resource management, scheduling and reporting on projects.
- Defining project objectives and overseeing quality control throughout the lifecycle.
- Delivering projects to time, cost budgets and quality.
- Reviewing plans and proposals to ensure value for money and delivery of plans as required.
- Building and maintaining relationships with current customers and with project teams and third-party suppliers.
- Identifying and winning work in line with company objectives.
- Contributing to bid management, including bid development and coordination of opportunity identification and bid/no-bid meetings.
- Acting as a line manager and supporting mentoring and coaching of junior staff and a community of practice.
About You / Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in project management or related areas.
- APM or equivalent project management qualifications with substantial knowledge of agile project management.
- Degree level education in a relevant subject.
- Demonstrable experience with a track record of continual professional development in project management.
- Technically astute, with experience operating in various project environments and scales.
- Evidence of continuous professional development in project management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills including influencing, negotiating and conflict management.
- Experience in writing proposals and coordinating bid management activities.
- Proven experience in managing technical projects through the full lifecycle.
- Strong communication, presentation and written skills.
- Ability to travel and work from client sites across the UK, with possible worldwide travel.
- Experience in a consultancy environment or with government clients.

Other Requirements
- Candidates must have an existing right to live and work in the UK.
- Candidates must be willing to undergo an internal baseline personnel security standard check prior to starting employment.
- Candidates must be willing and eligible to complete a UK Security Vetting (UKSV) clearance application to the Security Check (SC) level; typically at least 5 years of UK residency.
