Job Title: Senior Pricing Analyst – Data

Location: Manchester, Stoke, London, or Peterborough (flexible hybrid working)

We support remote working with occasional travel to our offices.

Why this role matters

As Senior Pricing Analyst – Data, you’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of data usage within Pricing, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and accessibility across systems and platforms. You’ll champion best practices in data management, support analytical and modelling needs, and coach team members to deliver actionable insights that drive commercial outcomes.

What you’ll do
  • Manage data flows across pricing systems, data warehouses, and Azure Databricks.
  • Query large datasets to extract and manipulate data for analysis and modelling.
  • Establish and embed best practices for data management and governance.
  • Ensure data quality through regular assurance checks and compliance with policies.
  • Support data migrations and integrations aligned with business and project needs.
  • Coach and mentor analysts on data-related solutions and technical issues.
  • Fully utilise available data sources and identify new opportunities for insight.
  • Deliver analytical data for pricing purposes such as modelling and optimisation.
  • Communicate outputs and strategy to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Represent Pricing on cross-functional projects and proactively identify impacts.

  • Desirable: Experience with R, Power BI, and understanding of UK insurance pricing practices.
  • A quantitative or technical degree and excellent communication skills.
