What you will do

Manage and oversee complex caseloads involving safeguarding, high-risk situations, and multi-agency working.

Undertake and quality assure Care Act assessments, reviews, support planning, and safeguarding enquiries.

Apply advanced knowledge of relevant legislation to support robust decision-making and risk management.

Act as a practice leader, providing mentoring, supervision, and professional guidance to social workers and newly qualified staff.

Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver coordinated and effective outcomes.

Promote best practice, professional standards, and compliance with council policies and procedures.

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.

Significant experience within Adults Social Care, including complex case management and safeguarding.

Strong working knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and related legislation.

Proven ability to provide leadership, mentoring, and professional guidance within a team setting.
