• Respond swiftly to urgent safeguarding referrals, taking charge of initial visits and ensuring immediate attention to children’s safety.
• Provide practice guidance, support, and informal supervision to junior social workers, helping elevate their professional development.
• Chair multi-agency meetings such as strategy discussions, fostering collaboration and informed decision-making.
• Work closely with the MASH team and other professionals to accurately screen and manage referrals.
• Ensure timely decision-making focused on the best interests of children, putting them at the centre of your work.
• Manage a reduced but complex caseload, demonstrating your expertise and contributing to successful resolutions.
