We are now shaping the future of wellness with simple daily rituals, thoughtfully and sustainably designed to support women’s health. Our vision is to be the #1 wellness brand in the world, setting new standards for holistic health, sustainability and female empowerment.

As a B-Corp, Ancient + Brave meets the highest standards of social and environmental impact. In June 2024 we have been named 5th in The Sunday Times 100 fastest-growing private companies and we have recently been recognised as one of the FT 1000: Europe\'s Fastest Growing Companies, 2025. Want to be a part of a team that’s shaping the future of health and wellbeing? We\'d love to have you!

The Role

We’re searching for a driven, part-qualified or newly qualified Commercial Management Accountant to join our small but effective finance team. In this key role, you’ll take the lead on all things revenue and cost of goods sold (COGS) reporting—owning the numbers, uncovering insights, and collaborating with stakeholders across the business to drive smarter decisions and fuel growth.

Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for preparing, analysing, and presenting accurate revenue and cost of goods sold (COGS) reports. Ensure timely delivery of monthly reports and proactively identify variances or anomalies
  • Provide in-depth analysis on revenue streams and direct costs to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities. Translate financial data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, operations, and senior leadership teams to communicate financial performance, challenge assumptions, and contribute to commercial strategies that drive profitability
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance internal reporting systems and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability—especially as the business grows
  • Play a central role in the month-end close process, ensuring all revenue and COGS entries are accurate and complete. Contribute to the production of timely, high-quality management accounts
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process and regular re-forecasting cycles for revenue and direct costs. Work with teams across the business to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, and ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Own the end-to-end preparation of multi-country VAT returns, leveraging technical knowledge of cross-border and inter-country VAT rules to ensure compliance
  • Maintain a strong control environment by ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, and support the development of best practices in financial reporting
Qualifications / Who You Are
  • Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent), with strong working knowledge of management accounting principles
  • Proven experience in a similar finance role, within a fast-paced and/or high-growth environment
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition and cost of goods sold (COGS), with the ability to analyse and explain performance drivers
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g. Vlookups, pivot tables, financial modelling); experience with ERP (enterprise resource planning) or finance systems
  • Analytical mindset with a sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
