A leading design firm in Greater London is seeking a Senior Lighting Designer to bring innovative lighting concepts to life. With an emphasis on teamwork and client collaboration, the ideal candidate will have over 10 years of lighting design experience and proficiency in tools like AutoCAD and DIALux. This role requires excellent communication and project management skills, as well as a strong portfolio of completed projects. Ideally, the successful candidate will have at least 10 years of working experience in lighting design post-graduation (or equivalent).
You will be a strong job runner used to working within teams of designers and bring a diverse portfolio of delivered projects.
You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and illustrate lighting concepts and take designs from Client facing briefings, through to contract completion on site. Managing external Clients as well as internal teams is essential.
You will need to be proficient in Photoshop, DIALux, InDesign and AutoCAD are required, knowledge of daylight design, Revit and 3D CAD will be advantageous.
You will demonstrate a collaborative team-working style and thrive working to tight deadlines. You will be able to work effectively with people from all backgrounds and have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
