A local library service in Cowbridge seeks an experienced manager to oversee the Library Service and Council Contact Point. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience as a librarian, strong leadership and decision-making skills, as well as sound knowledge of library systems. This role involves managing staff, promoting services, and developing the library service across locations. A proactive approach and an enthusiasm for libraries are essential. Competitive pay is offered based on experience.
Libraries in the Vale of Glamorgan provide a wide range of services to library users through activities, training and events, free access to the internet and information, hire of rooms, work with partners, a wealth of local studies materials and of course the loan of books, audio books, eMagazines and DVDs.

Pay Details: Grade 9 SPC 31 - 35 £41,771 - £46,142 Pro Rata £21.65 - £32.92 Per Hour
To manage the Library Service and Council Contact Point at Barry, Penarth or Cowbridge as directed, and assist in the development of the service as a whole.
