Job description

As our Senior Legal Engineer (UK) you will become a product expert, working with our prospects and customers across the UK on complex use cases. You will help them quickly and smoothly achieve their goals through our products. You will contribute to BRYTER’s growth directly by working and consulting with law firms or corporate legal in-house teams to provide cutting-edge AI workflows with BRYTER. The role demands someone who is passionate about the adoption of technology in the legal space. You have a solid understanding of both, the legal sector and tech which enables you to quickly understand how problems and workflows from these sectors can be mapped into digital tools. In this role you will report to our CCO, Micha Bues and work closely with all members of the Commercial area consisting of Account Executives, Marketing and Customer Success. To stay close to our customers and reduce unnecessary travel, we are currently looking for candidates who are based in London and able to work from our London office 2–3 days per week.

What you will do
  • Become an expert on our AI Workflow platform and be comfortable with explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience, as well as working with our world-class developers to build new product features.
  • Develop cutting-edge automation solutions for our customers in the UK. Support the Sales Team with deep product expertise, answering RFPs when required, conduct in depth POCs and product demonstrations.
  • Present and speak to senior decision-makers from C-level down.
  • Manage parallel projects and pilots for prospects together with our Account Executives, defining their roll-out plan and seeing the projects through to completion on time and on budget.
  • Co-ordinate and conduct workshops, trials and training for prospects.
  • Contribute to the constant improvement of pre-sales processes and best practices in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel will be required.2-3 days Hybrid in our office in London.
What we’re looking for
  • B.Sc./M.Sc./MBAdegree inbusiness, law, computer science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Legal industry, whether as a lawyer or a legal technologist.
  • Coding experience is mandatory, basic understanding of frontend web applications, cloud-based applications and APIs is mandatory.
  • Passion for technology and client service delivery.
  • Experience with SaaS delivery and implementation is a plus.
  • Experience in developing and nurturing champions.
  • Highly fluent or native English speaker.
  • Based in Greater London.
  • Energetic self-starter and highly driven individual who consistently exceeds goals and expectations.
  • An undeniably positive attitude and extreme dedication.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a very fast-paced and rapidly expanding environment.
