Job summary

A leading technology provider in the City of London is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive business development and account management in the SME market. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, interacting with clients at all levels, and building a robust sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience selling IT services or cloud products, with a strong focus on Microsoft solutions.

Qualifications

  • 2 years minimum experience selling IT services, support and/or cloud technology platforms directly to end businesses.
  • Experience in selling Microsoft services and support.
  • Demonstrate a track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to interact with client contacts across the corporate hierarchy, including C-Level.
  • Strong communication and demonstrable client-facing skills.
  • Capable of translating the technical capabilities of the service offering to address client business considerations.
  • Worked with a variety of clients in an SME environment.
  • Exposure to CRM databases.
  • Thorough and exact completion of and reviewing of own and Sales Team’s paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving revenue and gross profit sales targets.
  • Achieving self-set KPIs including number of appointments set and outbound calls made.
  • Working with head of the department to agree sales and marketing strategies.
  • Generating own leads by calling and booking appointments.
  • Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, managing the entire sales cycle.
  • Account management of clients and upsell services through regular meetings.
  • Inspiring junior sales consultants for new business leads.
