A prominent community organization in Stoke-on-Trent is looking for an experienced HR professional to support their bakery site. This site-based role involves leading the HR team, managing employment strategies, and partnering with the factory leadership. The successful candidate must hold a CIPD qualification and have experience in Trade Union negotiations and employment law. Please note: this is a site based role, as you will be working with and supporting colleagues that work full time on site.
Working in partnership with the Factory General Manager, the site leadership team and as part of a wider HR Team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the key HR objectives for our Mr Kipling bakery site of circa 500 people. This role is for an initial 2 year fixed term contract.
You will achieve these goals through effective coaching, leading by example and managing KPI performance, as well as being the site expert for all aspects of HR, including ER, engagement, L&D, recruitment. You will also have responsibility for leading the site HR team.
