Job description

Join our team as an innovative senior frontend developer! While we value full‑stack experience, your primary focus will be on frontend development. In this role, you'll work hand‑in‑hand with our talented teams to craft captivating digital experiences for our clients. You'll enjoy a variety of responsibilities, including supporting client project delivery, along with enhancing and developing our internal web and native applications and websites.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to help them describe the value of their technologies via web and native applications
  • Lead the planning, building, testing and deployment of web and native applications to meet client needs
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code
  • Build and maintain a deployment infrastructure for web and native applications that adheres to client security requirements
  • Collaborate with design team and project teams to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Support business development, marketing and design with HEOR website performance improvement, accessibility and maintenance
  • Contribute to new project proposal development by identifying solutions to client needs
  • Provoke the industry to think differently by contributing to and delivering thought leadership projects
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional HEOR teams to generate internal IP – by creating reusable assets and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with operational research group colleagues to develop HEOR coding best practices
  • Support the development and implementation of solutions to optimise internal processes and productivity e.g. via internal web apps/tools
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a full‑stack developer working in the consulting, life sciences or the pharmaceutical industry
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field
  • Strong front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js
  • Back-end development experience with Python and strong hands‑on knowledge of Node.js/Next.js
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture and deployment, particularly with Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Proficient in testing and debugging, including unit, integration, and automated testing using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, and Cypress
  • Knowledge of authentication, security best practices, and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
