Job summary

A leading mental health service provider in the UK is seeking an experienced Forensic Consultant Psychiatrist to lead forensic mental health services. The successful candidate will oversee clinical management, provide expert advice, and ensure the highest standards of psychiatric care. This role also includes participation in clinical governance and the development of strategies for quality improvement. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications and experience in forensic settings, as well as excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' postgraduate psychiatric experience, including 2 years in forensic settings.
• Experience in a Responsible Clinician role and secure inpatient services.
• Proven ability to teach and involve in audit and quality improvement projects.

• Oversee psychiatric assessments, formulations, and treatment planning.
