Job summary

A leading construction and engineering firm is seeking a Senior Digital Construction (BIM) Coordinator based in Crawley. This role focuses on enabling tools and technologies for project delivery, requiring a good understanding of ISO 19650 and experience with digital construction practices. The ideal candidate will contribute to BIM Execution Plans and raise awareness of digital implementation across project teams.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of the ISO 19650 series of documents.
• Some knowledge and understanding of Solibri.
• Can discuss openBIM standards such as IFC and COBie to support information interoperability.
• Understanding and experience of appropriate software tools to view and interrogate models.
• Good level of FM knowledge and strong initiative.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the information management team to ensure the use of the common data environment.
• Contribute content towards the production of monthly reports to identify and measure digital implementation.
• Support the project team(s) with fulfilling standards, methods and procedures.

Overview

We're looking for a Senior Digital (BIM) ConstructionCoordinator to join our Build based in Crawley.

Location: Crawley

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Responsibilities

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Digital Construction (BIM) Coordinator you'll be working within the Digital Team,supporting them by focussing on enabling the use of appropriate tools and technologies to support project delivery from inception to in use

Your day to day will include:

• Liaise with the information management team to ensure the use of the common data environment (CDE) is set-up, adhering to ISO 19650
• Contribute content towards the production of monthly reports to identify and measure digital implementation and maturity within the business unit and across relevant projects
• Supporting the project team(s) with fulfilling standards, methods and procedures using specified software and workflows.
• Contribute to the BIM Execution Plan and other documents that are produced for the project(s)
• Responsible for raising awareness and the profile of digital implementation within the business unit / project functional departments including business development, work winning, estimating, design management, building services, commercial, planning, operational and SHEQ driving our cultural and behavioural change to a digital first mentality
