Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor global billing and collections processes, ensuring accurate and timely billings.
  • Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and quality of service.
  • Manage the resolution of overdue invoices and related issues.
  • Analyse billing KPIs, including team performance and bad debt management.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Be part of the Senior Finance Leadership team.

Otto James Consulting is supporting a Manchester / Cheshire global Fintech business with an enviable customer base. They have grown organically and by acquisition and continue to scale at pace.

They currently have a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Credit Control Manager to oversee their global billings and credit control functions.

This is a true manager position as you will be responsible for a high headcount.

Reporting into the Group FC, you will be tasked with restructuring the existing team in terms of people and process and leading the global team to excellence.

This is a real opportunity to shape the department, make your mark and really add value in a high growth environment.

Duties include
  • Overseeing and monitoring global billing and collections processes, ensuring accurate and timely billings
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, effectiveness and quality of service
  • Month-end close
  • Managing the resolution of overdue invoices and related issues
  • Analysing billing KPI's; including team performance, operational SLA's, collection and bad debt management, cancellation trends, daily and monthly billing
  • Managing, motivating and developing team members
  • Being part of the Senior Finance Leadership team
The successful candidate
  • Proven track record in a leadership role within Credit / Billings in a subscription and usage based business
  • Ability to manage a remote team as post lockdown this role will continue to have a homebased element
  • Polished communication skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally
