The role

As a Senior Cost Engineer, you’ll have a role that is out of the ordinary. You’ll provide vital cost engineering support across high-profile projects that underpin national energy security and defence. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact while advancing your career in a dynamic environment.

Day‑to‑day, you will

  • Provide cost engineering support for complex projects
  • Manage project controls and earned value processes
  • Handle resourcing applications for payments
  • Support subcontract management activities
  • Collaborate with commercial, procurement, planning and engineering teams

This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week, based in Warrington, Cheshire. Hybrid working patterns are available, with a minimum of three days in the office per week.

Essential Experience
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Excel and SAP
  • Proven experience in cost engineering
  • Awareness of P6 or Risk Hive
  • Experience with systems and cost capture
  • Risk awareness and planning capability
