Senior Corporate Asset Officer

We’re looking for a Senior Corporate Asset Officer interested in a role where you’ll be recognised, challenged, and given the chance to be the best version of yourself.

About the Role

Join the Corporate Asset Team to support the development and delivery of the Corporate Asset Strategy and Management Plan (CASMP). Your work will focus on establishing accurate and efficient data and reporting systems to inform the sustainable management of the Council’s estate and to enable data‑driven decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data and reporting systems for the CASMP.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure property decisions support service delivery, community priorities and corporate objectives.
  • Provide evidence‑based recommendations to senior leadership and elected members.
  • Monitor and analyse asset performance and sustainability metrics.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant degree in Surveying, Asset Management, Property, Business, Strategic Management or Facilities Management.
  • Understanding of strategic asset management, the Corporate Landlord model and property legislation.
  • Experience with data management systems and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, database systems, GIS).
  • Knowledge of Community Asset Transfer (CAT) processes and social value principles.
  • Valid driving licence and reliable transport or mobility support.
