As a social enterprise and respected NHS partner, we provide a wide range of urgent and unscheduled care services, including NHS 111, GP Out-of-Hours, Clinical Assessment Services (CAS), Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs), Dental and Primary Care services.

We are now seeking a talented and experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in the contract management and stakeholder engagement for our portfolio of health care services. As a key member of our corporate team, you will ensure our contractual obligations are delivered efficiently, risks are managed proactively, and contract effectiveness is driven across our services, estates and supplier portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end management of NHS Standard and non-NHS Contracts, ensuring full compliance with national and local requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for contract discussions, negotiations, variations, and renewals.
  • Support internal teams by interpreting and advising on contract terms, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor service delivery and performance against contractual requirements, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide expert input into service delivery, bids, tenders, and mobilisation of new services in line with HUC’s strategic goals.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure contract deliverables are met across all services, including NHS 111, OOH, CAS, Dental, Primary Care and UTCs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to commissioners and internal departments, supporting the quality and performance agenda.
  • Provide knowledge and experience to continuously improve and evolve the contracting function across the organisation.
Terms of Employment

This appointment attracts a salary of up to £55,500
