Responsibilities

  • Operate as part of the consultant team in cervical cytology.
  • Authorise cervical cytology reports and give clinical management recommendations.
  • Participate in cervical cytology mismatch MDT meetings.
  • Bring clinical expertise and strategic direction in the senior management team.

HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist
Extensive post-registration experience in Cytopathology
Evidence of competency and meeting national standards

Education

Royal College of Pathologists & Institute of Biomedical Science Advanced Specialist Diploma in Cervical Cytology
NHSCSP Certificate in Cervical Cytology or equivalent
