A leading construction company in the UK is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial management of the Sizewell C project. The role involves responsibilities such as ensuring health and safety, managing project risks, and providing strategic guidance. Ideal candidates should have a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, professional membership in RICS or similar, and strong leadership skills. This position offers a chance to significantly impact the UK's energy future.
We are recruiting for a senior commercial professional to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) as we deliver Sizewell C—a once-in-a-generation project that will generate 3.2 gigawatts of low‑carbon electricity, powering around 6 million homes and shaping the UK’s energy future for the next 60 years. This is your chance to play a leading role in a nationally significant scheme, working alongside some of the most respected names in infrastructure.
This high‑impact position calls for a combination of commercial acumen, leadership, and the ability to drive value across a complex project environment. Your work will have a direct influence on the success of the CWA and Sizewell C’s positive legacy for both the industry and the wider community.
As Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of a section or major element of the SZC Civil Works Alliance scope from TOC setting, through project delivery to final accounting and commercial close‑out.
You are an integral part of the project senior commercial team where you hold key responsibilities associated with the commercial and financial success of a section or major element. You are a very experienced individual who has risen through the ranks of the industry and your role is broad and includes everything from risk management to procurement, financial reporting and managing the supply chain.
If you are ready to lead the commercial function on a project that will define the UK’s energy future, we want to hear from you.
