Qualifications

Job description

This Senior Chartered Surveyor role presents an excellent opportunity to work alongside industry experts, delivering clear, commercial advice to clients. You will be part of a team, whilst also being given the platform to lead and deliver independently across a wide array of building surveying disciplines.

The role involves:

  • Carrying out commercial surveying projects and tasks, including but not limited to; dilapidation advice, preparation of terminal schedules, negotiation and agreement/settlement of dilapidations, pre lease assessments, acquisition surveys, defects analysis, project management, contract administration, fire reinstatement cost assessments, project monitoring, party wall advice, schedules of condition, planned preventative maintenance, forensic surveying (building pathology), reinstatement cost assessments for insurance purposes, early cost advice and life cycling costing, feasibility studies and asset enhancement, design co‑ordination and space planning, specification of works, preparation of drawings using AutoCAD and tendering
  • Positively engaging with clients; developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Providing sound professional advice to both clients and project team members
  • Mentoring junior members of the team and providing appropriate support; especially to junior surveyors working towards their APC qualification.
  • Working closely alongside the Director and other Surveyors, ensuring clear and open lines of communication.

This role will be based in our Chester offices, but will involve travel to sites across the UK.

The salary for this role will be dependent on experience, complete with a generous car allowance, expenses, and bonus schemes.
