Senior Care Assistant – day shifts – immediate start in Golders Green, NW11.

Ventry Care is recruiting Senior Care Assistants to our residential care home. We care for older persons / older persons living with dementia.

Rate from £14.00 per hour, plus great benefits and opportunities for career development to management for candidates who can excel in the role. The ability to work flexibly around your family or other commitments, we can offer between 24 and 36 hours per week, 4 to 5 days.

THE ROLE
  • Run a shift to ensure the care needs of our service users are met; organising your staff team around medication, personal care, continence, moving and handling, mealtime support, social activities, and other tasks required.
  • Build strong professional relationships with all those around you; making sure family and friends feel welcomed, that health care professionals are kept well-informed, and that you keep your manager up to speed with residents’ needs and progress.
  • Be a team player, following guidelines and policies, and have good written and IT & systems knowledge to support residents’ care plans and record keeping using care management software, smartphone and tablet hardware.
  • Help our residents live a full life: be more independent, enjoy their daily activities, and exercise choice in their day‑to‑day living.
  • Make all the residents you care for feel safe, comfortable and secure, making them feel right at home.
