Position Overview

Senior Area Sales Manager – East Midlands North – responsible for driving customer retention and equipment sales growth across a broad range of industries. This fully remote role ideally prefers candidates located near Derby, Sheffield, Doncaster, or Lincoln.

Typical Day
  • Business development and expansion of equipment sales through partnering with customers.
  • Developing relationships at all levels, up to and including senior leadership.
  • Planning and prioritising diary to work on long‑term and short‑term projects.
  • Managing sales activity through KPIs and using Salesforce CRM.
  • Participating in regional/national trade shows and onsite equipment demonstrations.
Essential Requirements
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (including overnight stays when required).
  • Proven track record in account management with sustained growth.
  • Experience in solution selling of capital equipment.
  • Ability to take ownership of a broad portfolio of customers.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of a CRM (preferably Salesforce) is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Solution selling experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Interest in technology.
  • Background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
