Senior Allocations Coordinator - Housing

Hybrid, with a weekly presence in either our Boston or Lincoln office

Permanent, Full Time

Looking for your next step? Become a Senior Allocations Coordinator and play a key role in ensuring our lettings and allocations run smoothly and fairly. You’ll provide a critical second line of assurance in decision‑making, making sure every allocation meets policy, legal, and regulatory standards. Working closely with the Allocations Manager and team, you’ll help deliver efficient, compliant allocations services, and support transparent resolution of tenancy queries.

Salary: £38,200 per year

Contract: Permanent, full time

Your week: 36.25 hours (Monday to Friday 9am–5:15pm)

Location: Hybrid, with a weekly presence in Boston or Lincoln office

Snapshot of your role
  • Provide assurance that all allocations comply with legislation, internal policies, and best practice.
  • Collaborate with the Allocations Manager to streamline property advertising, direct lets, and tenant sign‑ups across regions.
  • Review and oversee allocation decisions, offering an additional layer of scrutiny to enhance compliance and reduce risk.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential nomination and relet data, reporting as required.
  • Carry out regular audits of case management and other key processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to safer homes and stronger communities by ensuring equitable, compliant, and effective allocation practices.
What we’re looking for
  • CIH Level 3 – achieved, working towards, or willing to undertake.
  • Relevant experience in allocations, tenancy changes, decants and mutual exchanges with a focus on compliance and decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of housing and tenancy law, including nomination agreements, and up-to‑date awareness of the regulatory environment.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with local authorities and key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to use housing systems effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, resilience, and ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
