Job summary

A leading manufacturer in scientific instruments is seeking a Senior Account Manager for Chromatography Sales to manage and expand the customer base in the UK. This home-based position requires solid technical knowledge and sales experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing and engineering teams, traveling to client sites frequently. A degree in Chemistry and a valid driver's license are essential for this role.

Senior Account Manager - Chromatography Sales - UK

Location: London / Oxford / Cambridge

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 base + Company Car + £10,000 Commission

The company is a leading manufacturer of Chromatography and Spectroscopy instruments and consumables. Their technologies are integral to scientific research and industrial applications worldwide, serving a variety of fields.

The Position
  • Chromatography sales - Responsible for managing and expanding the existing customer base in the region.
  • Use technical skills to identify client needs and address any inquiries.
  • Perform diagnostics, address potential issues proactively, and ensure system reliability.
  • The position is home-based, preferably near London, Oxford, or Cambridge, with regular travel to customer sites (50%) and trade shows. Most of this is daily travel, but occasionally there will be overnight stays.
  • Working closely with the Marketing and Service Engineer teams in the territory.
The Requirements
  • Educated with a degree or further in Chemistry or a Chemistry-related subject.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Chromatography and spectroscopy, as well as the sector.
  • Sales experience is required.

Valid Driver's licence and fluency in English are essential.
