Position

Sr Account Manager – You will lead the tactical execution of integrated and digital marketing plans while maintaining a strong understanding of the agency/client relationship. You will develop and apply strategic planning within the broader scope of account management. As the primary contact for clients and/or agency partners, you will oversee the development of campaigns and project plans, providing day-to-day support on broader strategic efforts in collaboration with the Account Director. You will identify and meet client needs while aligning with internal processes to ensure the successful initiation, management, and execution of all initiatives, including leading client presentations and facilitating internal project meetings as part of a large account team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic projects (e.g., Website, ISA) and reporting initiatives (e.g., weekly/monthly dashboards).
  • Manage the finished product/service from comprehensive project plans to submissions for regulatory and client reviews.
  • Track project budgets and work with AS and AD to manage scope.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and understanding of the client’s business objectives.
  • Serve as day-to-day client/agency partner contact in the absence of a Supervisor or Director.
  • Prepare client proposal decks and quotations.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities with existing clients and prospects.
  • Mentor or manage junior team members to ensure flawless client submissions and adherence to agency best practices.
Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

The following are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.

  • Strong experience in marketing and advertising with expertise in digital and print, and understanding of marketing and digital strategy, media, and technology
  • Strong client relations skills with demonstrated customer satisfaction
  • Proven ability to manage projects to successful, collaborative completion
  • Ability to write clear Project Briefs aligned with client assignments and expectations
  • Ability to co-author Creative Briefs and activate internal teams against projects
  • Experience with financials/tracking, including estimate reviews, project health, and revenue tracking
  • Confident, clear written and verbal communication
  • Team player with mentoring capabilities
  • Professionalism and etiquette in remote meetings
  • Curiosity and proactive questioning
  • Ability to stay composed under tight deadlines and pressure
  • External point of contact for small conflict resolution; internal liaison with cross-functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in communication/marketing, economics, biology/pharmacy, or related scientific field
  • Approximately 5 to 7 years of related experience across client-side brand teams, consultative roles, advertising agencies, and/or pharmaceutical experience
