A local educational institution in Rochester is seeking a part-time SENDCO to join their dedicated SEND team. The role involves supporting families and staff in providing high-quality intervention and teaching for children with special educational needs. The Pilgrim School (Warwick Crescent, Rochester ME13LF) is looking to appoint an inspirational part‑time SENDCO to work as part of our SEND team at The Pilgrim Multi Academy Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our families, staff and children through the processes that will get them the support that will allow them to thrive in our inclusive environment. It will involve taking responsibility for the day today high quality class and intervention support, for meeting and liaising with parents, staff and external professionals in order to compile the evidence required for each individual child.
The National SEND qualification and experience of working in Medway Local Authority would be an advantage; however, we would support candidates working towards or wishing to work towards a SEND qualification. The successful applicants will:
