Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Belfast for a Self-erect Tower Crane Driver. The selected candidate will be responsible for safely operating self-erecting tower cranes on various projects. Daily tasks include performing pre-operational checks, ensuring the safe movement of materials, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with the construction team to ensure efficient workflow and safety standards are consistently met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating self-erect tower cranes and understanding of crane mechanisms.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols within the construction industry.
• Ability to perform equipment maintenance and pre-use inspections effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with site teams efficiently.
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Relevant certifications such as a valid Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) card or similar qualifications are preferred.
• Prior experience working on heritage or high-specification projects is advantageous.
